My name is Robyn Herbig and I am the new Computer Technology and Robotics teacher here at CKMS. I have worked with children of all ages for the past 20 years in various capacities, Hale 'Opio, Day Treatment in Oregon, Boys & Girls Club-Kapaa, and as PCNC at Kalaheo School for the last 5 years along with substitute teaching.
I have a BA in Psychology and have just completed my Masters Degree in Education. I am excited to begin my teaching career here at CKMS. Students need to be actively involved in meaningful and challenging work that develops their ability to think critically, reason and problem solve. I look forward to actively engaging students in such a way that they strive towards excellence.
I believe that students who are able to work collaboratively, have a higher success rate in and out of the classroom. In order to equip students with these skills we will be integrating the TRIBES Agreements throughout the course of the year.
