Webquest Site for Periods 5, 6, 7, & 8

For the next few weeks you will be working on the following webquest.  The grade you get on this webquest will determine your mid-quarter grade so do a good job!!

You will be working in groups that I assign you and will need to a class presentation at the end of the project.  As we go through the webquest I will be giving you extra information and rubrics.

Have Fun!

Short Week

Even we are all happy to be done with school at 11:30 it's a tough week as the students are trying to get projects completed.  The deadlines are coming up fast and the time is short.  However, I must say that the students are really using their time wisely and working hard to accomplish what they can in a short amount of time.

Ready or Not. . .it's time for Mid Quarter Grades!!

Wow! I can't believe it's almost time for Mid-Quarter Grades.  All of the computer classes (including X-Block) have just completed a webquest on internet safety.  I believe they all learned a lot about how to be safe when surfing the internet as well as understanding more computer/technology terms.  We are going to be using the skills we have learned to evaluate other websites in preparation for our upcoming projects.

The 2 robotics classes have also been working on robotics webquests and are finishing up their presentations this week.  The Beginning Robotics class will then begin work on their upcoming First Lego League competition coming up on Saturday, November 20.  The Advanced Class is going to be practicing their presentation skills in hopes of earning more points when it comes time for their competition in the spring.

Take time to ask your students about some of the things they are doing in class. . .it shows them you care.  = )
